Parent and Tot Gym is a self-supervised gym playtime for families with children 0-4years old. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Weekly drop-in space for queer parents and caregivers of all genders to bring their children ages 0-5 (older siblings welcome) for play, connection, and mutual support.

At times, all parents feel lost or without a clue about what their child might need from them. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. Founded on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened, you will gain insight on reading your child's emotional needs, supporting emotional management and enhancing the development of your child's self-esteem. 

Series will be guided by trained Circle of Security facilitators from Comox Valley Child Development Association.

It provides connections for both you and your young child(ren)! These informal parent and tot mornings will offer plenty of fun, play-based activities, as well as special guest speakers from local community organizations.

Facilitated group discussions and occasional guest speakers/visitors from relevant organizations within the community, but mostly just informal connection for parents with infants and toddlers.

The Toy Library is a place where families and caregivers can borrow toys. This is a money-saving, environmentally friendly way to refresh your child's toys.

Memberships at the Toy Library are $20/year.

Presented by the Building Connections Project, this is FREE drop-in program for families with children 0-5 years old along with a caregiver. 

Drop into the open gym space and play off some energy, while creating community connections with other families. Each session will include a rotating schedule of crafts, snacks, activities, and fun special guests! Parent participation required (and encouraged!).

Join this weekly session with a local doula and postpartum parenting specialist to support your journey through matrescence - from birth, and until you’re fully settled and thriving postpartum. Rooted in holistic guidance, celebratory traditions, and self-care practices, we enrich and vitalize our cross-cultural parenting community. Enjoy tea and cookies in a relaxed and confidential space where you can reflect, share, laugh, cry and gain confidence. Feel free to drop-in anytime during the session - we understand the challenges of leaving the house with a baby!

Family Popcorn and Movie Night!
Come down to Arena 1 for a family movie night. A different movie will be played each event.

Admission fee is $3/pp or $12/family (up to 6 ppl)
- includes popcorn and juice box or pop!

Movie starts at 5:00 pm, doors open at 4:00pm. This leaves lots of time for children to ride their trikes, bikes, roller skates or other big toys around the rink beforehand. Strollers, skateboards, and scooters are welcome. 

*Please bring helmets to wear while using wheeled toys!

Kick off your weekend by joining for an evening of family fun! Jump around the bouncy castle, play large games or complete take home crafts. All activities are self-led. 
This is an all ages, drop-in program. $5/family.
