Babies start learning from birth! Learn rhymes, tickles, songs, and lap bounces. Encourage brain development and meet new people while you're at it.

Little Movers is play that is suited for young children that are just getting moving and comfy in navigating their surroundings. Parent participation is required.

CV Kids Playhouse is an indoor playground offering a haven of fun and excitement for children of all ages. The facility id thoughtfully designed to provide a safe and engaging environment for kids to explore and learn!

During sensory hour the environment is adapted to be more conducive for children that may have sensitivity to sensory overstimulation. Lights are dimmed and there is no music.

Join this weekly session with a local doula and postpartum parenting specialist to support your journey through matrescence - from birth, and until you’re fully settled and thriving postpartum. Rooted in holistic guidance, celebratory traditions, and self-care practices, we enrich and vitalize our cross-cultural parenting community. Enjoy tea and cookies in a relaxed and confidential space where you can reflect, share, laugh, cry and gain confidence. Mini-Franco Fun is an initiative of the Fédération des parents francophones de Colombie-Britannique as part of its Centre d’appui à la famille et l’enfance, offered by L'association francophone du centre de l'île in collaboration with the Comox Military Family Resource Centre (CMFRC).

This group is specifically designed for francophone (or francophiles who are able to express themselves in French) families with children aged 0-5. 

This FREE drop-in activity is an opportunity to network with other families, while learning more about the community programs and resources available.

Laugh, sing, dance, and play with instruments while learning to follow directions, cooperate, and move your body. Kids will also enjoy fun projects and crafts, sparking creativity while having a blast!

Adult participation is required. Registration is required (roughly $5/class). For children 2-5 years along with caregiver.

For mothers and babies, this group focuses on self-care, postpartum adjustment, and life after baby. There will always be tea, cookies, and great company! Facilitated group discussions and occasional guest speakers/visitors from relevant organizations within the community, but mostly just informal connection for parents with infants and toddlers.

During sensory hour the environment is adapted to be more conducive for children that may have sensitivity to sensory overstimulation. Lights are dimmed and there is no music.
